The mission of the Sun Fun Festival® is to attract people to the Myrtle Beach Area during early June. Inaddition, developing extensive publicity which will serve to attract additional vacationers to the area in subsequent weeks and months and create an awareness of the Grand Strand. The Sun Fun Festival is a tradition to kick off the summer season by providing free fun events for our visitors and local residents. Starting in the summer of 2006, the festival has evolved into a summer long promotion with events beginning the first weekend in June and running through Labor Day weekend that include a summer long concert series and the Beach Boogie Barbeque Festival.
The Sun Fun Festival, now beginning its 56th year, is the Myrtle Beach area’s premier event of the year and has been honored by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Event. This highly attended festival continues to attract visitors nationally and internationally to the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand area year after year.
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is currently looking for sponsors on all levels for 2007. Sun Fun utilizes the levels below as guidelines for sponsorship. It is our desire to speak with you individually so that we can create a sponsorship package that is tailored to meet your objectives. Also – keep in mind – once you serve as the sponsor this year, you will have first right of refusal for the sponsorship of this event in the future.
